Summary

Remove or replace the two pentalobe screws securing the iPhone 14 Pro Max display panel. Applies to model A2894 (international).

Procedure

1. Power off the iPhone before beginning disassembly.
2. Using a P2 pentalobe screwdriver, remove the two 6.8 mm pentalobe screws located on the bottom edge of the iPhone.
3. To reassemble, reinstall both screws in reverse order.

Notes

• A specialized P2 pentalobe screwdriver is required — standard screwdrivers will not work.
• Pentalobe screws are a proprietary Apple design (five-point head).
• Ensure the device is fully powered off before removing any screws.
